Leadership Steering Wheel

The role of managers within a team is like that of a driver in a car, leading the way and ensuring safety of its crew members. The steering wheel is the most important tool for a driver, just as leadership is for managers.

Managers must strive to achieve two outcomes in order to actively and effectively lead a team towards success: having genuine followers and meeting company’s core expectations.  Compared to behavior and attitude, managers who can achieve results are considered to truly possess leadership, and managers with good results are rated as having a high level of leadership.

For managers at different levels, the methods of having genuine followers have certain similarities. But companies have different core expectations for them. Managers must clearly recognize this and respond positively to make the results happen.
