Cross-team collaboration has become the most common work mode in today’s era. However, it is regrettable that many collaborations are costly, inefficient, and sometimes even result in outcomes contrary to expectations. Making the process and outcomes of collaboration "NICE" (i.e., cost-effective, efficient, and aligned with expectations) is a genuine aspiration for every manager.
想實(shí)現(xiàn)NICE的跨團(tuán)隊(duì)協(xié)作,要從四個(gè)方面去思考和采取行動(dòng)。避免消極的假設(shè)是最基礎(chǔ)的方面,很多協(xié)作還沒(méi)有開(kāi)始就已經(jīng)宣告了艱難和失敗,消極的假設(shè)“功不可沒(méi)”。其次是要樹(shù)立正確的理念,對(duì)協(xié)作有正確的認(rèn)識(shí)才可能產(chǎn)生正確的做法,現(xiàn)實(shí)中有三個(gè)大坑總會(huì)讓人跳進(jìn)去還不自知,最終致使協(xié)作事倍功半。再者就是協(xié)作聯(lián)系人的重要性不應(yīng)該被忽視,一樣的事不同的人去做,結(jié)果就會(huì)大相徑庭。讓協(xié)作各方全情投入也是NICE的關(guān)鍵,這其中還有七個(gè)關(guān)鍵步驟需要一一落實(shí)。
To achieve NICE cross-team collaboration, we need to take action from four perspectives:
First is to avoid negative assumptions, as they contribute to many failed collaborations by overly picturing potential challenges before the beginning.
Second is to establish the proper mindset, as a correct understanding of collaboration leads to appropriate actions.
The third aspect is recognizing the importance of collaboration contacts. There are three common pitfalls that often trap people and result in suboptimal collaboration outcomes. We ought not to overlook people's role in collaboration, as different individuals can yield vastly different results when given the same task.
Moreover, engaging all parties in collaboration is also a key factor. Among this there are seven crucial steps to be implemented.
